and Clue Finders.Finders are all great for inspiring kids that math can be fun and interesting. The three software programs totaledamounted to $466. We hadThere was $3184 left to spendremaining. Since many of our colleagues and figured a Doc Cam/ Projector wouldthe teachers at this school agree that document cameras enhance lessons and lectures we chose to add that to the list. This Document Camera/Projector will be helpful forin teaching mathematics, along withour mathematics course. We'll be able to zoom in on textbooks and keep the students interested by providing a better view to the teacher's table or display. We know that Mathematical Reasoning

with $2280. We then decided to splurge onWith this amount left we considered buying an Interactive Whiteboard but thought it would be too expensive. After doing some research we found a great deal on a refurbished

Interactive Whiteboard 680 SMART Board for $1346 along with Lessonstouch-screen and stylus. It can by connected to a computer via USB. All of Math Word Problems for $8. Thisthis is definitelyincluded for the price of $1346 so we reconsidered and found that this was a reasonable price. It will benefit the student's enough to spend that much. We invested $8 into a SMART Board lesson software for word problems. These are definitely great tooltools to have

After coming to the grand total of $6000, we are all very grateful for the grant you've allowed us and we hope to put all these resources to their best possible use, helping the third grade children of our school to learn! Thank you for your consideration.

Since the computers in the classroom were outdated, we decided to get five new ones. We ended up getting five new Apple iMac Computers for a great price of $470 each from newegg.com. At this point we had spent $2350 dollars and had $3650 left to spend. We then had to add software for our fancy new computers. We decided on Kidspiration, Elementary Advantage 2012, and Clue Finders. The three software programs totaled $466. We had $3184 left to spend and figured a Doc Cam/ Projector would be helpful for teaching mathematics, along with Mathematical Reasoning for Elementary School teachers. These items cost $904, leaving us with $2280. We then decided to splurge on an Interactive Whiteboard 680 SMART Board for $1346 along with Lessons of Math Word Problems for $8. This is definitely a great tool to have in the classroom, especially with the way technology is advancing in the classroom. We also decided to buy 25 2GB Flash Drives for the class in order to save each students individual work on. After buying flash drives, we had a total of $724 left to spend. We added an Early Reading Booster for the five classroom computers to help the students with reading comprehension. This brought our total to $5,975.
